^^ that is so true, ive beaten so many quiker cars then mine even though there up alittle higher then me on the spec sheets..

"holy shit man what have you done to your car?"
straight out of the showroom.

That was a evo 9 trying to race/overtake me.. =) believe it or not, i had witness's aswell. I thought i was going to get eaten, he had passengers in his car as did i.

or this done up crx that tried to race me lol that was cute. his little turbo and mobile racing sticker.

made so much noise but didn't go no where, i could just see his mate in the passanger seat w/ eyes wide open and mouths shut..

trusty 3L, power through all gears.

You never know with 3.0RB's they are surprising.. ive been told by my passengers that they have personally never felt that kind of torque pull in a 6 cylinder N/A Car.

Its just nice to have one up on the GT's.....They were all faster than me down the straights I had better lap times. That Said if I were to buy a Liberty now it would be the Spec B GT, but they were not available when I got mine.

For the record best I have done 0 to 100km/h in is 7.5 seconds, a GT is quicker than that.

Times recorded using Racetech Driftbox.

I reckon STI should release a 3.0 GTRB :D

That would keep every Liberty owner happy!

AYE!

BTW... I presume the STi muffler would be good quality at a hefty price!! What other similar quality options are there....

I've played that sound file a little bit too often now! :-D

Nooo..

the new 3.6L (as fitted in the new Tribeca) but in a GTB now that would be sweet.. getting closer and closer to that magic Porsche spec :)

A propper STi Liberty with an H6 turbo (twin turbo, or supercharged).

Only need about 250kw's to make most of us happy to start with. ^_^

I think that's pretty reasonable considering nissan are doing 220kw' with NA V6 (stupid French V6 at that).

6/4 pot brembo package...

If only.

EDIT: forgot to add... As good as that sounds... it's not really any different from the sound of an NA i6 motor. A cheaper option is to have two partially restrictive cannons giving a total flow area the same of a 2 1/2 pipe.

A set of Canons drone though, there are a few guys here with new mufflers on the 3.0 which sound OK but to really get that sound you need to do the whole system....
