car was just aligned before i got it as it had control arm bushed replaced for rwc
its running pirelli pzero's all round. Is the rear alignment adjustable on the liberty's?

sorry for the newbie questions, my noise sounds like its coming from the front, but you can never be too sure

thanks for all the info guys, great forum
ive replaced wheel bearings many times, but mostly on older rear drive cars
do i need any special tools to do the job on the liberty if it turns out to be a wheel bearing? This is my first awd

Nope, gen 4 libs are all bolt on assemblies. Pre 2000 they were a press in/ out bearing

paid $110 (discounted) per hub assembly through CBC here in vic, i think retail was $130 each

subaru quoted $273 each (parts only)

fitted them myself.

Hi all,
Just an update if anyone is curios.

Ive bought a pair of Timken wheel bearing hubs from the US on Ebay

Part number HA590118 fits and works fine on MY05 3.0rb

Hi i have just bought a subaru legacy gt 2003 and i have the same problem as soon as i hit 100kmh and it stops when i slightly turn to the right. Is this the wheel bearing or the cv and on which side.
