HIDs are HIDs.
You can source them yourself for a lot cheaper than what Leo is selling his kits for, but in the end its up to you

I'd be going to the 35w kits

You cannot beat Leo for his customer service and willingness to help though. There are definitely a lot of cheap sh!t hid kits on the market which will land you in a bit of a mess.

Brainy is using $60 kits he got off ebay for fogs and high beam and hasn't had any problems as far as I know. Most of the kits are produced in Taiwan anyway so it's all the same stuff.

this might be true, yes. but it doesnt hurt to source some things yourself too.
i paid < $10 for all the LED panels in my car, Leo wants to charge 5x that price for the same size/colour LED panels.

There is a lot of cheap shit on the market, but there are also a lot of cheap good/reasonable quality kits too.
all im saying is, dont just narrow your choices down to 1 option, have a look yourself too

If the 3.0r is the same as 2.5i (which I think it would be) you need H4 for low beam, get 35w & whatever colour (6000k's of sexytimes) and H7 for fogs, once again 35w & whatever colour (6000k for maximum sexytimes)

if you're putting in 600K lights you may aswell keep the standard globes.
you've just wasted the output potential of the HID's or better globes

Hence

ie - whatever colour he would prefer. Me personally, I like the look of the 6000k so I went for them.

That's not true.

http://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appearan ... buy-94774/

H7 bulbs put out around 1500 lumens, a 6000k D2S HID will put out about 2000-3000 (depending on brand) lumens. It's only after about 6400k that things really start to drop off. 8000k is about the same as the stock halogens or worse.
