Hi All,

Has anyone fitted the genuine STI front lip spoiler on the 3.0rb My08 Gen IV series 2?

I've been searching high and low on the internet but received mixed results.

Some sites don't really specify much while others were dead set on compatibility with the 2.0R, 2.5i and GT ONLY, NOT 3.0r Spec B.

I thought the Gen IV GT has the same front fascia as the 3.0r Spec B?


Help needed

Pre-facelift Gen4 GT and 3RB have different front bumpers hence the whole 'it won't fit' etc (even though it does, just not 100%, more like 97.48%)

Post-facelift Gen4 GT-B and 3RB have the same front bumper im pretty sure so there should be no issues there (from memory)

Yes I'm with you there on the post face lift GT-B vs 3RB.

The STI front lip in question here was taken from a post face lift GT-B so I'm pretty sure it would fit on my 3RB.

Spot on, OP you will be sweet if you're getting one from a post-facelift GT-B. You'll probably have to drill into the bumper to fit though, just a heads-up.
