I've been reading up the threads on tuning the h6 and read some good stories (XRT) and bad ones (pulse and MRT).

While I've not dealt with any of them personally, what I'm really looking for here is unbiased reviews of them or any other tuners in sydney. Pulse offered me a full tune at $1200 and promises to deliver substantial gains to power and torque while improving fuel efficiency.

As for XRT, a full tune (with SI Drive) plus tatrix cable would cost about the same too. Only difference is I can't talk to the tuner in person.

So guys, any real unbiased feedback on sydney based tuners would be much appreciated.

Forgot to mention MSR in Sydney.

Appreciate any feedback from anyone who has had their 08H6 with SI Drive tuned by MSR.

You will get a nice NA tune with XRT, I have never spoken to the man and yet have successfully completed a few tunes for my self and others.

Just make sure Ed sets the RPM limiter at factory limits if you go with XRT, highly recommended.

This option is easy as you can do it from home whereas teeing up a workshop, dropping car off, getting a lift back, and so forth isnt always a convenient thing

Edward is available on IM and Skype, so you can chat to him in real time on keyboard or voice if required.

Michael South (MSR) is also highly recommended - he seriously knows his Subaru's and has a long history of modding, building, tuning and rallying.

Many of my customers are on my BB, Whatsapp, MSN, Yahoo, Gmail, Skype. Because of remote tuning, I am actively involve. So its not just email and silence.
