Just wait to find a manual. There is nothing wrong with the auto though.

I say go for it, the conversion is only a 10 minute job, and you can easily source a 6speed trans & centre console off the shelf from repco/supercheap for reasonable price.

I agree wIth Ed.. Wait for one to come up for sale.. You're just asking for trouble by doing it yourself

It'll be a lot more than waiting for a manual one to come along. Not to mention your ECU will need to be tricked to work, the dash cluster is different, and you may have issues trying to sell the car later on down the track.

Thought of doing this when I had my GT... it was going to be in the vicinity of at least $7K.

Flywheel
Clutch plate
Pressure plate
Clutch slave cylinder
Clutch line
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch pedal

Six speed Gearbox
Gear shift cables
Six speed Gear stick
Shift boot

U may need to change the dif cos the auto dif has a different gear ratio
Compared to the manual dif
Computer tune

And other stuff I may hav forgotten
Cheaper buying manual in the first place :3

It probably also didn't have an ECU, right? :P
