Is this car worth the $$

Hi,

I am new to this forum and to Liberty's, so I would just like to gage the opinion of the members on a car I am looking to buy:

The car is a Liberty 3.0R B-Spec Wagon. MY08, 85,000 kms on the clock, and the dealer is asking 29 grand for it. It looks to be in pretty good nick (there are a few scratches on the drivers leather seat which I'm told they can fix, and a chip in the windscreen they also offered to fix). I have driven it and it feels nice and solid. I think I can push him down a few grand on the price but I just wondered what you guys thought is a fair price to pay... Any thoughts?

Hi there, it does sound a bit high but that's what you expect from a dealer. He will go down a lot more than you think so try an make an offer, $24,000 is more realistic considering that it has 85,000 klms on it. Remember that in 15,000 klms time you have a major service (all fluids and oils etc) so use this to your advantage.
