Hi there,
Is the conncetion on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0759423736
compatible and reasonable?
Other suggestions or advice?

Yes it looks to be compatible.

Do you have the necessary software for it?

Well yes you do have OBDII, the connector is under the dash on the drivers side near the kick panel.

The free software sounds sufficient to me. Tell me how you go with it, I'd love to have my own scanner instead of doing all my checks at work.
