What should I do to mine?

Hey guys,

I have recently purchased a 2004 MY05 Liberty 3.0l R in burgandy... and I am in LOVE!
I am interested in doing a few things to it as I see all the cars on here and get inspired. The question is what?
At the moment I have just put in a new HKS panel filter because I could and it was quick, cheap and easy.

I'm after some recommendations as to what is a good idea, what looks good and what others have done to theirs (mods and parts used and so on). I am a uni student so funds are understandbaly low, and these mods will come in at a very slow pace.
I want a new exhaust, grille, wheels, suspension but again this is a wish list.... Any input would be appreciated and this will be a list I use to slowly add to the car (possibly VERY slowly). :?

Thanks

Hey mate start off with a set of sway bars for handling and then maybe a pair of phat or hiteck mufflers to give you a nice tone. That would be a nice cheap start and make a little bit of difference.

id do both swaybars. but dont be like me and order the wrong freaking one. >_<

ive the same model as you 3.0R and along with both swaybars i also bought an antilift kit from whiteline and cusco rear swaybar extra support mount thingios. also bought billys and S-tech springs and it lowers the car nicely on the rear. for bling factor i changed my bufflers to a set of HKS items.

handleing department sorted :)

I have been told not to worry about the fronts, just the back. Makes it less, how can I say... boaty :S

Remove centre muffler and cats and replace with straight pipe and 100cl metal cats, add better tyres, Control arm bushes and whiteline GR sti control arm braces. Set of brake pads and flush and replace every fluid in the car.

Mmmmm it's something to consider. How much do you think I would be looking at for front and back sway bars installed and just back?

If you are doing rear swaybar only, do it yourself. it's a piece of cake.
Front is a little more work but only because you have to remove some heat shield thing, but it's still easy.
