Knock knock. (not a joke)

Hi all

Not had my 04 30.R-B for long and noticed from when I got it that when you shift out of 4th gear (clutch engaged or disengaged) there is a knock noise. It doesn't eaxctly seem to be coming from inside the gearbox, but maybe the linkages or similar? I see some places selling bush kits for the shifter, is the fix for a common problem, or is my problem not something anyone has heard of?

I don't know that I have noticed or heard/read of what you are describing before. I know mine makes a bit of a clicking sound on the 2nd-3rd change if I rush it without the clutch pedal hard against the firewall (while driving) but I don't think that's what you are describing.
