hi there, couple of questions please:

-MAF housing size? 3" I guess?
-Have you touched fpr? changed to boost related fpr?
-Are you running an engine oil cooler? if yes, any pressure drop issues?
-Have you tuned the 5eat to allow smooth shifts to save tranny clutches? either DBW or using different codes (whatever it's called)?
-Have you tried 0-100km/h? Yes, what boost :)?
-Turbo gives full boost at what RPM?
-Max RPM?

I'm actually going for a similar set-up, it would be great to know some info here and there and also for the public.
Appreciated,
Ali

I thought this topic is open for discussion? Anyways, it's a pleasant achievement buddy.. enjoy your ride. It would be good if some fine details were there for the public but, it's up to you of course.

Sorry mate. Missed this.

It's not my car. It was built by jzk25 for a customer and I just tuned it.

I'd guess maf is at least 80mm. FPR is changed. It's manual. See graph for other info.

H6 turbo

Postby jzk25 » Fri Jan 03, 2014 11:25 am

This car has done 20k km with turbo fitted with only issues being 3 failed DW65c fuel pumps. Not sure why but have since added a pier burg 800 twin screw pump to handle the load with the dw pump just supplying it.

The fact that the engine is still healthy is testament to the tune and engine protection functions of the factory ecu.

Noting the issues with the DW65.

Thanks Robbks, very different cars.

This one has now done over 20,000kms and fuel pumps aside has not given a moment of trouble.

I tweaked some things last week for the awesome Pierburg fuel pump it now sports.

I would never buy another GT knowing you can do this. In fact I'm still toying with the idea of doing to it to an early Tribeca to steal away Kiahatsiu's sleeper crown.

Tony, stop stuffing around with the idea of a Tribeca and stuff an EZ30 into the Yaris and add some boost.

Hopefully you're not too fond of the FA20 already to seriously consider this.
