Denso Iridiums for the 3.0R

Iridium Power - IKH20
Iridium Tough - VKH20Y

Due to your driving habits and distance travel, the IKH should be change every 3-6months. Normally you will feel the performance of the IKH drop just into 3months. There are really high performance racing plugs. Please remember this.

The VKH can be change any where from 6-9months or more, depending on your driving habbits.

For those who are unsure where the green diagnostics connectors are. I have taken a few photos to show where they are.

This is the one on the passenger footwell side with the cover removed. Note that mine were already connected.

These are the are ones underneath the glovebox.

BrisLiberty wrote:Hello. This is my car. As much as I love my Liberty, I have put up with 2 years of pinging and sluggish response. Numerous trips back to Subaru have not been able to rectify the issue. The standard Subaru response was that this was normal for the car, which I found hard to believe.
So I was pleasantly surprised to find someone who was able to tune the car without having to install a piggyback unit. This car didn't have rom support available, so Edward had to create that first.
V0 has been "nervously" uploaded and the improvement has been dramatic already. Response is so much better than before. I will do more driving and logs today to see if the pinging has improved as well. I know this is only version V0, but I'm excited already! Edward has been very quick to respond to my questions regardless of the time, so I'm not sure when he sleeps.
With regards to the stock tune graphs that have been posted, some of the jaggedness will be due to my choice of bumpy back road for the log. Speed ended up close to 160kph, so not able to do this sort of test on the freeway!

It makes me realise what I've missed out on for the last 2 years with the stock rom!

BrisLiberty wrote:V3 is a great drive and vastly improved over stock. All of the above 3rd gear pulls are over the same stretch of road which does have a slight incline, same time, same type of petrol and roughly same temperature,. The 2 x V3 pulls were in opposite directions, so I'm assuming a flat run would be somewhere in between the 2 graphs. The 152kw V3 run was in the same direction as the stock 143kW run, so there is a 9kW improvement for this rom version.

Regardless of the kW, improved drivability of the car was my main focus and this is now fantastic! :D

Good to see this thread is still alive and well and great to read Edward is still working away improving things in the land of H6.

With V5, the car is a pleasure to drive. I don't want to stop driving and cannot help push the car hard as the power delivery is so much smoother and stronger.

The final v6 is to be uploaded later today.
