That seems like a fair price to offer to me mate! As for the seats, it means they are electric, are stay in the same postion, but if somebody else gets in and changes it you have to adjust it to find your comfortable stop. If you have memory, you can store the seat postion, so that if some body changes it, you just press the button and it puts the seat back to your favorite postion :D No big deal really!

Well they've made one mistake, selecting MY07 instead of MY06, so Carsales has filled in all the details for an MY07 automatically. It does say "confirm with seller" at the top.

What does this mean Rick? Electric Seat - Drivers With Memory - both electric, but no memory on either
Does that mean I have to set the chair again all the time?

MY07 has two memories, so you can save the position, and revert back to the same position if someone moves it.
MY06 just stays where you left it. If someone moves the seat, then you have to move it back where it was by yourself. Don't move it, and it's not a problem ;)

The interior is black or gunmetal btw, not beige....

That refers to the pillars and roof trim. All the leather is black.

Oh well he hasn't got back to me yet, I still want the car though but you guys reckon the cars worth $26,500? Cause that was my offer...

Nah it's a, advertising mistake, that's all, don't get too excited about it :)

It means the chair maintains where it is, but if someone changes it, there's no magic single button that takes it back just how you like it. Ya gotta find that spot again yourself. MY07+ had dual memory drivers seat, which meant you could have seat positions retained for 2 different users permanently..

Yep, 3.0R's interior were all beige, 3.0RB were all black.

Alright cool, the seller hasn't got back to me yet so I'm gonna be checking out some 2005 ones which are slightly cheaper.

They say 3.0R-B and not 3.0R Spec-B, think they're the same thing but maybe 2005 MY05 have it listed differently. Read the reviews & it still has everything it seems, 18inch rims, Bilstein suspension, etc. Stereo as mentioned before seem a little different as Dwayne mentioned.

Yes, 3.0RB is just shorthand for 3.0R SpecB.

The easiest way to work out if a Liberty has Bilstein shocks and springs is to have a look under the guards.

All Bilstein shocks are yellow. :)

If it has Yellow shocks and yellow springs, then it is a Spec B. If it has pink springs and yellow shocks it's an STI and if it has yellow shocks and black springs, then it's an MY10.

But as per usual, I could be way off the money here.

Hi everyone

Fingers crossed think I'm picking up the car soon. I have a question, what do 3.0R Spec B engine numbers look like?

His supplied me with a engine number to do checks with VicRoads but it doesn't look right......

Cheers!

Thanks man! Nicely friendly Liberty community... hope everything goes smooth....

Yeah the engine number given to me has a 'u' then 6 numbers, none of which really resembles a 3.0 litre engine. Is this correct?

Subaru engine numbers will be prefixed with the engine code. In the case of the 3.0 H6, the engine code is EZ30 (2.0 and 2.5 H4's are EJ20 and EJ25). My engine number has 6 letters following the EZ30 engine code

Paranoid bugger aren't ya ! :-) :-)

Just a note, your profile info says 3.0R, not 3.0RB. I figured as you were so specific about getting an RB, you might want to change it ;-)

Yeah this is gonna be my most expensive car purchase to date so yeah just wanna be safe. If the engine no. is wrong then I can't do my checks ...

I'll prob change my profile when I get the car, don't wanna jinx it...
