Looks pretty fine to me - the welds etc look fantastic!

Only I pick on is the FMIC (position), there is no way you can fit that without removing the alloy support behind the bumper bar - from an engineering standpoint for legal road use in QLD - all states you dont want to be fronting up without the entire bumper support gone - even tho you cant see its gone. All that said I have no idea where you could locate one otherwise :)

Which injectors have you chose and did you go with the stock fuel pump - other fuel system mods?

Not for my benefit as such but for others - what did you do with the wiring loom/plugs etc (some are decent amount of wires) that are right under near the turbo at the back of the drivers side cylinder head, I imagine you must have heat sleeved everything at the very least

Otherwise a good thing and certainly welcome this kind of thing into the scene, always a good thing.

It's ironic isn't it. Not a statement you usually hear made after adding a big-arse turbo. Some nice work there Al. Would be interested to see if you guys can work out a DIY kit similar to what Tim/Raptor are doing.

The stupid thing is, with the FMIC in position, it IS an alloy bumper support...

Wiring connectors were relocated under throttle body and loom fixed to pitch rod and mount.
Fuel pump is a Deatschwerks 65C straight fit. Injectors are 06- EJ25 turbo 520cc.
Exhaust is an off the shelf Xforce GT catback joined to custom front half.
The owner is a happy man.

And the intercooler works.

Max intake air temp at throttle body was 48C on the dyno (ambient was 36C).

Driven "enthusiastically" on the road for 10 minutes, it topped out at 41C. (Scientific testing - no fun was had)

Up hill pull to redline through 2nd, 3rd and 4th (on private test track) netted 33C.

This isn't a random assortment parts Al will send to you for Beta testing, it's a well sorted drive-in / drive-out conversion.

Injectors are at 82% duty and the MAF sensor has 10% headroom. It's a good package. Not close to the most powerful Subaru I've driven, but the midrange wall of torque is very impressive.

Now .. Tell 'em the the price, Son!

Probably not much more than your old TD05 setup, but not a patch on where you are now.

It has however transformed an otherwise pretty doughy old NA engine though.

If anyone wants to pony up for a tough bottom end and heads to match, THAT would be a monster.

12 intake ports and 12 exhaust ports means they don't need headwork to make 800hp. Just valve springs on intake.
The most highly ported stupid (stock castig) subaru heads flow significantly less than stock 3.0heads. Food /horsepower for thought.
