Do yourself a favour and get the oil tested, either send it to "lubrication management" in dandenong or find another good mob to test it for you.

Last time I was there for an oil check I travelled 5000km on 98, 3000km on E85 and the oil was still good for at least another 2000km - on a turbo engine that gets pushed pretty often. Not wearing out and barely holding together, but specifically "good aka fully functional for at least another 2000km". $60 of your cash and you'll know and we'll know the rough life expectancy of your oil for the H6 on corn. Maybe some of you H6 owners want to chip in for the test?

3000km on an N/a that's not a track car might start to sound silly once you get the test results back, more cash in your pocket down the track :)

Not worried about how long the oil lasts, or the $$, its more just a habit that i’ve done oil changes every 5k since i’ve owned the car! (done 50k).
I like knowing that its running on nice fresh oil. Especially since the car gets hammered often!

It would be interesting getting it tested though, just for future reference.

Matt, what do you mean by:

05 H6 6MT D2WD610H - Experimental 2D Inj Pulswidth multiplier but full timing control?

I have an early 05 6MT H6 and am going to fit the Raptor headers and possibly the CAI when it comes on-line. What can you do for these early H6's on either 98RON or E86 with these items fitted?

Regards

Rob

Quickest run to date.

Tried again last week with less weight but was still getting the same times.

Great effort!

Looks like you have really nice torque, just not enough top end to keep accelerating

Flex fuel, essentially run 98, E85 or any combination in between. Fuel flow is modified but there is no fuel map modifications able to be made(like the 06+ ECU's) so a constant additional rate of fuel is added. 06+ can have less fuel under higher load on E85 for more power.

I think if you chime in on the raptor headers thread you'll be able to pick some up, lots of folks trading for high flow options..
