Flywheel liberty/legacy 3.0R Spec B 6MT

Postby kleinerbastler » Sun Oct 17, 2010 8:40 am

Hello,
i´m looking for a stronger clutch and maybe a lighter flywheel (if possible).
What kind of flywheel this liberty/legacy has, dual mass or solid?

Kind regards Ingmar

Original there is a STi clutch disk, so i think all stuff for STi should fit. But can i use for the cover a STi cover?
There is a DMF from exedy FF02 this should fit, which other options are around or is it possible to change to a solid flywheel?

Tommy, I think he is Germany...

The stuff from Sti will fit, this legacy has a Sti clutch disk. The problem is to find a flywheel, because it is a dual mass and sti has a solid one.
The flywheel from 2.5 RS or or so doesn´t fit, because the circle for the clutch is to small. I need a dual mass flywheel for a 240mm clutch. At first i thought the exedy ff02 will fit, but shit ...

The supercharger is a australian one, in the Netherlands is a tuner, which has installed maybe 2-3 Raptors at the H6 engine - i ask him.
Have a look at the Raptorsite there is a price info and look at youtube there is a video of a tribeca h6 with this supercharger.

I think i will take the subaru flywheel with a stronger clutch kit.
But the original flywheel is so expensive ... or can anyone help me with contact.
I´m so confused of these sh... flywheel/clutch stuff. I need help -please.
Maybe now some more people need a stronger clutch.....

$6600

i assume plus fitting? wonder what that would cost.

and then you would need to get it engineered too.

Hey KB,

what are you anticipating the total build cost to be?

Maybe I lead you up the wrong path. The stock flywheel is a dual mass unit. That does not mean that you can't source a single mass flywheel. Many have made the change from dual to single mass
