EZ30 Camshaft Specs Query

Postby LibGuy » Wed Apr 03, 2024 6:19 pm

Hi Guy's

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my engine.

I got told by my engine builder that for the 3 port ez30's there is the early and later updated intake camshaft. When I went searching on PartSouq between my 2005 and a random later model 2007 one, the camshafts have different part numbers.

So any guru's that have been through this already, is it a worthwhile mod?

Sorry about the slow approval of this first post.
It got swamped in hundreds of Russian SPAM posts that I've just finished flushing...

bump! , this is an interesting Q , did you ever find the answer?

The torque curve's and lobe switch over seem different (and smoother) for later model cars so I don't know if that has anything to do with it
