Pod Filter on 3.0R

Have any of you put a pod filter on your 3.0R?

If so, did you buy a kit? Or, did you custom make it yourself?

I have been looking at using readily available WRX parts (ie AFM sensor adaptor) and plumbing in my own pod filter and silicone intake system.

If any of you have done something similar, could you give me information on what bits you used, what filter you used, where you bought your bits and pieces and also post up some photos please?

Or, is it just better to get a dry type panel filter for the stock air box from somewhere? Where can I get Apexi panel filters from in Australia?

HKS Super Hybrid Panel Filter (Dry Type).

i have put a pod filter on my 3.0
I got the maf adapter and pod filter from turboxs. It is a maf adapter for wrx's..........now remember that the wrx adapter is slightly smaller OD than the lib diamater. But that is ok as it will make the car only slightly richer.

I ended up putting a dry type stainless steel pod filter on. I didnt notice too much extra induction noise or improved power delivery over the "resanotorectomy", but it is better on fuel now. Down to 11.4 litres per 100km combined as opposed to the 12.4 I was getting previously.
