TEIN STREET BASIS TO REPLACE BILSTEINS??

Postby Troy » Sun Jul 13, 2014 3:45 pm

Hi all,
Think my Bilsteins are on the way out, and im on chopped springs (i didnt do it). Looking at the tein street basis no basic. Wanting a smoother ride then what i have. Think because the springs are chopped i am bottoming out on some bumps in the bils. Any other suggestions

You know you can get the Bilsteins rebuilt? They are a 100% servicable item
The cut springs - not so much. Get a set of good quality springs and you will be happy. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12563

Apparently expensive to do.
Now thinking of bc br coilovers, good reviews around and get the height right without losing travel

Really?
Who did you get a quote from? I believe Quadrant are the Melbourne dealer. I suppose if you didnt remove them your self and just wanted a drive in/drive out then it would get expensive.
