Cold starts and steam/vapour

Bought my r-b in summer and so this is my first winter with it. Lately it's been bloody cold here in the mornings (Adelaide), and I've noticed quite a lot of what looks like water vapour/steam on startup. Continues for about 30 or so seconds, gradually diminishing to nothing. Pretty sure it's steam, not smoke, as it disappears when it hits the air.

It has been raining a lot and there is a lot of moisture around. Car is mostly out of the rain but a bit hits it overnight when it rains (car port type setup rather than garage... hard to explain, designed by an architect interested in style not keeping cars dry).

Can anyone tell me what would be considered "normal" for an H6 with a solid number of kms on cold start up in cold weather?

My last car was a 2 litre Mitsi which never really had any water vapour.

just need to warm the engine up before taking off!!! youll see the smoke gradually disappears whilst driving.

Cheers, thought as much. Just not used to it as my previous car didn't do it.

I actually usually let it warm up for long enough for the vapour to disappear completely.
