It's the wrong PCD, you may also have issues with the inside of the wheel hitting the strut.. But that's just a guess.

Yeh the above are generally popular, I guess that's what happens when the rims are affordable. 18x8 +42 is a good size too if you don't want too much scrubbing and stuff.
