experience with DCCD swap for SpecB?

After the project with Qaife failed, i´m still looking to improve the center diff. The 20kg center from STi seems to be very uncomfortable for DD. So i was thinking about a DCCD swap.
The specB already has a 6MT which is equal to the STi one, so it seems to be much easier for a swap - only gearbox change + DCCDpro controller - but i don´t realy know it.
Has anyone experience with it?

The prefacelift spec b 3.0 six speed is not the same as the Sti six speed

Your one has the dreaded VCD, which wasn't removed until the facelifted spec b 6 speed and r180. These later boxes are the ones that are the same as the Sti 6 speed without the dccd controller / helical LSD

All H6 6MT are the same style until the end of GenIV. They have all the same transmission with the 4kgfm/100rpm viscous unit, never got the unpowered/noncontrolled DCCD center diff. The 2.5GTB was suited with R180 in the later models.
But like i read from this thread http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/6mt-master-swap-thread-107137p18.html it could be easy, we can use the r160 and just change the transmission case, the driveshaft will have the right lenght and will fit, and add a DCCDpro controller.
But maybe one of you can confirm that?!?

Cheers for the info - I actually thought the h6 six speed from the spec b 3.0 litre was the same as the gtb six speed

I ask the guys from legacygt.com and the 6MT form H6 is interchangeable with a STi 6MT DCCD tranny with no other mods, just ad a aftermarket DCCD controller.
