possible b spec .. few questions

So quick info . Had my gen2 liberty for years now, has 400.000 on the clock love it to death but think death is creeping up on it.....
So deal is I've found a my05 90000 k ... On it for the right price ... Apparently it needs a fdont diff overhaul but after searching on here for hours AMD making a few phone calls thinking mire then likly wheel bearings or center diff.


So question is has anyone seen a front diff in a 6 speed fail and if so with so little k's ?

(so for spelling phones laggy and cant keep up)

it's possible that the front diff has croaked it due to a failed centre diff putting excess pressure on it.
unless the car has been in an accident where it hit a curb hard and has punched the driveshaft into the diff, damaging the diff and wheel bearings.

if you can get it for $3k cheaper than any other one on the market, just buy it and fit a known good box.

and yeah. owners on here have had the VCD fail anywhere from 60K
mine was gone at 120k when i bought it

Going to check it out this arvo needs rego next month but should be able to get it sub 10 mayb less ... Pending condition of the rest of the car .

Just over pulling gearboxes out on the garage floor haha ..

so as thought turned out to be the center diff, also the cars fitted with new 225/40/18 on the front and almost bald 215/45/18 on the rear so hoping a new set of tyres all round will sort out the shudder on take off

so depoist place pending a few things ie. rev's check ( airbag light is on ) so bit concerned bout that and want that cleared up before anything else but once thats sorted for the price we agrre'd to cant go wrong i dont think haha

Check the seat airbag plugs, they are known to cause airbag light faults.
