Here is my cabin air filter. I don't know which is worse. Engine breathing in your filter's crap, or me breathing in my cabin filter's crap

Aftermarket filters aside, stupid me was under the impression Subaru where replacing the filter as part of a service????. Guess not hey...cause I had never done it and I've had the car 2 years already. and if Subaru aint doing it that means the previous owner prob had it way to long as well....

They are supposed to change it at specific intervals, hell even at least check the damn thing.
Might be time to take it to another Subaru service centre instead, or a trusted mechanic which is even better in some cases.

If Subaru aren't replacing or even checking the condition of the intake and cabin filter it really makes me question
their credibility.
I already go in with a list of things and basic directions to aspects of the service that need extra attention,
just to ensure that they actually notice and correct these things... it sucks

its a shame when we have to check on the guys checking on our cars.
Im sure not all service centers are the same but I think I'll be finding a good Subaru specialist other then subaru themselves as my car will probably less lickley to be treated as another service "number"???

anyone know a good place in Sydney preferrably near the Northen Beaches?
