New SHockers??

Postby Nick3.0R-B » Mon Oct 18, 2010 11:16 am

Gday All

Got a 3.0R-B and i feel its kinda lound and heavy over bumps..some minor bumps also. How can i check if i need to replace the shockers?? Or are these the signs i need. The cars got 117,000 on the clock..and will follow up the previous owners log book and find if they are the first set which was fitted.

I found this on ebay. BILSTEIN Shocks. How is this for price??

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SUBARU-LIBERTY-B ... 27b5abde5c

I'd assume through subaru it would be cloce to double?

Kind regards

Nick :D

117KKms they are pretty much due for rebuilding.

Buy those Ebay ones they are the exact same as what you have and cheaper than rebuilding (less hassle too). Subaru is about quadruple that price.

Make sure you get Sedan or Wagon they are different.

Nick, are you in Sydney?

If so, you can visit these guys, they are in Greenacre.

They also sell the weird sized 215/45 R18 Bridgestone Potenza tyre we have on our model for about half the price of RRP and they also have the rims off the face-lift spec Bs in stock.

Good blokes to deal with.
Now that I'm in North America, I'm greatly concerned about raised pick-up trucks and owners of wedge shaped vehicles. Seriously, not only do you have to be concerned about one hitting you in an accident, they stand a good chance of driving over you at the same time!
