I had a recent visit to V & E rigoli to pickup a car. I asked him about the conversion and he advised that there is no drama whatsoever. Just drop the Sti running gear in and he will wire the engine and put in an aftermarket comp with original harness. He said rego will not be a problem...

So looks like this project will be going ahead.

I will keep you upto date on progress.

If you want to see the sti which im using, goto http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :MESELX:IT

cheers

Of course, got the engineers certificate, registered with RTA with Blue Slip so all done legally! The engineer that looked at it is also an RTA Authorised Inspector which makes it much easier!
