plain and simple... something new from me...

can someone explain what they are.....

what they do,

how they work,

benefits of having them,

usual price,

effect on car,

worthwhile,

change in note,

All of the above.. Ive got a mate who is selling them cheap, and im weighing up my options as to weather it is worth it or not..

Now not knowing what it does, i guess leaves it open to what im after.. And i guess as anyone would be after, as much as i can, for as little as i can, without cutting corners..

Thanks in advance guys, and by the way, if there is any other information i could put down here, to help with feedback, giz a hoy and ill edit this..

cheers

Basically, the headers are the metal part that connects the exhaust ports on the engine block to the exhaust system.

In theory, if the replacement headers/extractors flow better than the factory ones (this is possible, but not always the case), you might get a bit more power/torque, and a slightly different engine note.

I'd be wary of buying them without ensuring that they are 100% suitable for your car, and seeing the effect they have on power/torque curves (dyno graphs of before/after fitting).

What are they worth? No idea, sorry.

If made properly a set of bananas will help in power and torque, you might get a tad reduction in engine heat as well.

Don't personally have the experience from a liberty, but in other cars there have been definite change when driving the car, they were NA btw.

Cost would depend if they are local or overseas product.
If they are second hand, inspect them carefully....
