Is it worth doing many mods to my gen 4?

Postby ngent45 » Thu Jan 26, 2017 12:46 pm

Hi there,

so i have a 2.5i 2004 premium pack liberty, and was wondering if it's worth doing much to it?
I am on my p plates so a turbo is obviously out of the question. But what performance mods can i do to my car that are worth it?

Not sure where you are located, but if you're in Perth I have a stock turbo twin system you can have.

Barely...
Best off concentrating on braking and handling mods if required.

Haha fair enough, Like said before, you best bang for buck will be in the handling dept. Tyres, sway bars, springs shocks and brakes. Also a proper short shifter, will all help in transforming how the car feels.

Sways only required for fine tuning handling in conjunction with lib specific digressive dampened coilovers eg Shockworks or MCA... Do the latter first.
The best initial mod may be really good tyres to improve handling and braking...
Also look for mods you can carry over to a future non p plated turbo lib. Eg brakes n shocks...
