Hey Guys,
Have the Check Engine light and Cruise light (flashing) up on my 2008 Heritage.
Car seems to idle and drive fine..and cannot see anything out of the ordinary in the engine bay.
Have tried disconnecting the battery for 30mins... but still get the lights. Any other suggestions?? Im thinking its gonna be the o2 sensor or something..
Is it ok to drive do you think??? Cant get it to my mechanic to till tuesday for diagnosis, and I gotta get to work tomorrow!

The code I got was p0420..

Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold- Bank 1
Probable Cause
-Rich A/F Ratio
-Ignition system malfunction
-Faulty Catalytic Converter

That is a known PITA DTC code.

Suggest that you contact Matt McLeod (KiDo_Tuning) for a tune.
He will make the car go much better and deactivate the nuisance code while he is at it!

BTW, Drive the bloody car! LOL

That code just means that the system (using a 02 sensor before and after the catalyst) sees that the catalyst is not cleaning up the exhaust enough.

As above, known PITA code. You will be fine to drive it.
