Interesting issues indeed

Hey all it's been awhile,

So i decided to hold onto the old red girl, it looks nice except for the demon of a hole in the boot but who cares it's never used anyway..

Well I did the clutch much to my delight just in time, however since doing the clutch I have had a sticking clutch pedal issue at first it was minor bled the system and all was merry. Now in the hot weather and the ****ing morning traffic it's back for revenge, I've bled it another 3 times all with an un opened bottle of dot 4 and no air in the system yet it persists.. I'm going to replace the flexi line first then the slave cyl hopefully over Australia day so long as the funds allow & that should fix the issue..

The other issue I've noted is that upon take off after awhile of driving the thing feels like the front end is locking up and unless I give it a bit when i release the clutch the ****ing thing stalls.. Has this happend to any of you and how have you remedy the situation..

Looking forward to your replies, Cheers

You have a 2000 model RX Liberty?
This model had a hill holder mechanism throttling off the rear brake lines from a valve controlled by a cable controlled by the clutch pedal.
You say you have replace the clutch, which means that the clutch take up point has been affected.

[1] Have you checked the operation of the hill holder mechanism?
[2] Has it been readjusted correctly since the clutch replacement?

Hello again.

I ended up replacing both the clutch slave and hose which fixed the hill holder issue for the time being aswell as lubricating the mechanism.. I'm unsure on how to adjust the hill holder mechanism it functions with the clutch depression as it should..

Any advice would be handy

Cheers
