Brake lights x 2 failed but not High-level/Middle light?

Postby my07outback » Mon Feb 16, 2015 6:43 pm

Hi Guys,

A guy advised me at the lights tonight that both L/H & R/H brake lights were not working, but the High-level/Middle brake is still working.

Have pulled the fuse(s) and nothing has blown.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance

If the fuse had blown then ALL the brake light would be out.

Most likely two blown globes.

Yep, you were right on the money there, both globes blown.....luckily after 4 x servo. visits tonight, a Caltex in Carnegie (Repco branded, so I bought 2 x packs) had the correct globes, the rest ? all they had were globes to suit my 30 y.o. Mercedes (with metal bases ) :suicide:

Thanks for your help and pointing out the obvious...these Gen. IV's blow globes faster than every other (of the 30+) cars I've ever owned !
