um, hi all.
i'm a noob and new to subaru.
recently, just bought a 06, 2.5L SOHC, Liberty.

1. 4speed automatic gearbox. would you guys consider it as a not-so-good gear box? (all my cars since day 1 i drive, are all manual, except my mum's volvo)

2. the car is a bit over 90k kms, do i need new spark plugs? because it shakes a bit when i start up the car from cold.

3. better to get lower springs to enhance performance?? cause the stock springs are a bit too soft for me... and of course it rolls a bit.

thanks in advance.

if it runs fine after cold it wont be the plugs. sounds stupid to the NA's but has it had a cold tune
as for suspension its a non turbo so performance would not really do much to the car i believe

Gearbox is fixable, ask forum member Smoko how good it can be with a tweak

Spark plugs are a good idea

Lowered springs will improve handling and stop the boat feeling. Also a rear swaybar is also worthwhile upgrade
