newbie post

Heya all first newbie post
I have been reading the posts regarding the NA 2.5L motor in anticipation of receiving my new toy which is a Brumby with the 2000 RX Liberty engine and complete driveline including brakes the lot. All fully engineered and road legal.
It was a purchase off eBay and I await impatiently for it to arrive from Canberra. Scheduled to arrive on the 20th
Weighing in at a total of 1050kg the 2.5L should be adequate although having said that I have had my eye on that "blown" thread.
Currently trawling looking for improved output improvements to the engine any suggestions.

It arrived today and I am crowing like a rooster.
Bit noisy in 1st gear but will look at the oil and change it out with an additive
No crunching or noises in any other gear just 1st and it is a very direct shift so I might get lucky with an oil flush and additive.

Any way I am rapt.
