Here's some 3rd gear pulls showing the fine work Edward (west_minist) did with the tuning. Will also give a baseline for after the build. Apoligies for the rough curve: straight, flat, smooth, abandoned roads seem to be a rare commodity...

Note the increase in torque in the lower rpm, helping to eliminate that painful flat spot. The graphs only show part of the story; the extra power, sharper throttle and higher rev limit made the car so SO much better to drive. I was really impressed by what Edward (west_minist) achieved and would recommend ANYONE looking to get more power and response from their NA engine to talk to him.

Funnily enough I had poured through those exact photos and came to the same conclusion RE: 2 hoses coming out of block and clutch reservoir. They will have to be moved a little *sighs* but like you said, big win with the Denso!

Raptor SC were pretty picky about pictures around the injector shield and I believe they have added the extra notch

the hoses aren't too tricky, its the clutch reservoir that could pose a problem. I couldn't do that myself, ever (unless I gave up my day job and became a mechanic)

good work with the extra notch. I was hoping Tim would remember that the bracket doesn't clear our fuel rails

I spoke to my mechanic today and have the car booked in monday morning to get the reservoir and those hoses shifted. Fingers crossed, in a weeks time it will be a 2.5s :D

And the wait is killing me too. We did so much with the rom to prepare for this point and even driving style to inch up to full throttle and rpm.....power :)

I would love to see Speed Density, but so far, the car is ready. she is running strong, but I hope the headers don't hold her back.

Very nice and not overly blingy-looking either.

How does it feel out-of-the-box so far without the extra tuning? And has the exhaust note changed now that there is more air in there?

Also, how long was the labour to install it in the end?
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

Ok. Far from even revving out and dialing in the afr since stuff have change with the new MAF position etc, I will say this much.

A semi flat line from 3000-3800rpm, tq goes from 220nm to 230nm. Boost goes from 1.2psi-2+psi MRP. All of this in 2nd gear. Oh. 87kw by 3900rpm.

Thats all I can say. Check the graph above and you will see when Nick post, he will highlight the dead zone have meaning now :)

Well, just found this thread I didn't know about!

This has come together well so far

The system shares components with Impreza kits and Liberty H6 kits, nearly burned out my brain working out the mix n matching to provide a complete intercooled system.

The injectors are 2.0WRX

The intercooler radiator is half the H6 system mated up with the standard H4 system from Impreza, shares same pump and hose sizes.

Airfilter, airfilter mount, PCV return and BOV return alloy unit is all H6 Liberty - provides same flows as standard H4/H6 system on Impreza/Liberty.

The Intercooler itself is same as the Impreza H4 2.5

The boost is the same as Impreza 2.5, this is the 6-7psi system (identical to Blademasters unit/system)

IC pump is Bosch highflow

The charger is Liberty spec with anodised Black front and rear trans plates, is otherwise the now standard lightweight series. It is air cooled charger, the water cooled unit is only used on H6 kits.

All in all this vehicle should go well, it is well proven system and with XRT on the job the driving should be good.

Blademaster - your install was really neat too, so tidy.

* I think the only thing I really missed this time was the detail of relocating the clutch reservior. I will get some further info from Nick and Blade and rectify this shortcoming. I gather a piece of hose, some hose clamps and a small bracket?

** The fact the engine doesnt have headers wont hold it back so much until after 5300rpm, the low end should be perfectly fine with stock manifold. May lose 15kw at the top end, however I wouldnt be suprised if the Lib stock ex manifold is a slightly better flowing system than Impreza - guessing on that one. Headers is still the right way to complete the job tho

*** An extra 2psi is allowable for the Liberty's with intercooler - should anyone desire it in the future.

Pretty much, Looks like Nick's reservoir got moved to the same place mine did.
