My Impreza wasn't quite that quick (as Nick) and I ran a 13.9 quarter

I will have to get it to the raceway for some 1/4 times. I am absolutely over the moon about the results and the car I now get to drive. Certainly the credit belongs to Raptor Superchargers for providing a kit pieced together from other kits that fitted perfectly and resulted in a very easy build. I had no trouble with Tim's perfect, clear instructions. Also all the credit for power results belongs to XRT. west_minist's ability to remote tune using nothing but logs never ceases to amaze me, especially considering his strike rate!!

Every man loves a pissing contest lol. Great overview of builds though. I'm sorry for the complete lack of updates. Had a few issues what with my laptop dying and I seem to have barely any free time for logging which had made Edward's job even more painful. I took the car for a drive on a nice resurfaced gravel road and had all 4 wheels spinning into 4th which is just the coolest feeling. It was a nice wide road so I had some unbelievable fun using boost to drift...throw in some 3rd gear circle work in a car park that I dare not mention and overall: I like it :D

Will try and manage some more pics and videos when I get a new laptop...also when tuning is finalised we will see final figures. Then on to stage 2...

Ok just some info on stage 2 and what I am purchasing.
From Raptor Superchargers:
-smaller charger pulley for 9psi
-passenger side inter cooler radiator
With a little help from tradewind and west_minist I also bought:
-high flow fuel pump http://www.deatschwerks.com/products/fuel-pumps/dw200-in-tank-fuel-pump
-high flow (pink Denso 510cc/stock sti) injectors http://rallispec.com/prod_fuel.htm

For anyone looking to do this sort of build on this sort of model ie HyRax If u can, cough up for the expensive ones first because like me u may completely change ur mind (go stage 2) and changing/dialling in injectors is a pain in the butt hole

So noted, thanks. Depending on how your review goes, I'd probably aim for stage 2 right away as well.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

You could easily aim for stage 2 straight away with fuel pump, injectors, 2nd radiator. However I would still see how the car responds with the 6psi pulley first. You would have to check with west_minist/Tradewind on whether it'd be ok but personally, with an engine that's done 100,000km I'm really glad to have 6psi running safe before trying 9. I'm also prepared to revert back to 6 if 9 is too much.

I am keeping my stock clutch for the time being as a little experiment to see how it handles the power. It's nearing the end of its life anyway so in regards to a replacement clutch: I'll cross that bridge when I come to it and in the meantime it's a fuse lol

Here is a little lesson. If you do 9 or even more, you dont even have to rev over 6000 :) lol, but there is always the reviews on the rings, rods and valve leakage due to weak springs and boost :)

Hey, just some more info on what I have been looking to add into my build in the future when I can. Tradewind showed me this site which has some nice SOHC and spring/retainer kit at good prices. I also may hold off on this for a long while and add it to a full engine rebuild...

Fuel pump here, radiator and injectors are on their way. Just waiting on the wee-little charger pulley. Car still running awesome, has very minor issues that are still being tweaked eg cranking: 90% of what it was. But west_minist will no doubt fix 8) At the moment both him and I are very busy and struggling to find time.

Haha +1 or maybe even just "S" models, all SC'd engine builds

Yeah all Tradewind's knowledge :D lol. The above site quoted me amazing prices for:
-stage II cams/cores
-valves, springs, retainers kit
-HO header for 2.5i: quote from email "We have one that was only used for dyno testing that ended up having a bit too large of a collector for NA use but would be perfect for a supercharged setup"
Fingers crossed :D
