MY10 Subaru Liberty drivers seat creaking noise

Since purchasing the car near new in 2010, Ive noticed a creaking / squeak in the drivers seat. If I elevate / lower the seat it stops for a while then comes back. It happens when taking off, going over bumps or even putting pressure on the seat back.
I've told Subaru Docklands about it when I had the first service, but they said they couldn't find anything. I've read some forums from the USA where people have had similar issues, but have mentioned all sorts of things from the seat rail, springs, to the actual seat.
Has anyone had a similar issue?

Il's not the seat belt sockety latchy receptacle rubbing on the seat?

This - I traced mine the other week to something in the seatbelt socket arm... haven't tightend / thumped yet but now I know where it is :)

Couldn't find anything with the seatbelt arm that would cause the noises. If I sit in the car without the belt on and put some small force on the back of the seat it creaks. I find if I slightly raise or lower the seat it stops making noises, but then they come back after a day or so. Think it has something to do with the height adjustment. Hopefully I can get it sorted at the next service,
