Hey guys,
Had a bit of an interesting issue start happening today. When i stopped at the lights my car began rocking/shaking slightly until i took off when the light went green. It felt like the rocking was originating from directly under the drivers seat. It was happening about 50% of the times i idled at the lights.
Any ideas whats going on?

low idle speed or a bad misfire
could be any of a number of issues
look at simple things first
air/ vacuum leaks
battery voltage
bad fuel
plugs
leaky injectors
dodgy sensors

Where were the lights - on solid ground or a bridge? It's easy to mistake bridge movement as a car fault...
Is the problem reproducible? If you rev it up a fraction while in neutral, does the rocking go away? Does it still do it when the air-con is off?

LOL!!!!
Was the aircon on? I know my car has a rough idle when the aircon on, as did my mates facelift 3.0R-B.

Cheers for all the responses guys. It seems the issue has gone away so im not too concerned about it. I was on actually on a bridge at the time and the aircon was on so either could have been the cause.

i have had my gen 3 subi rough idle too, it could be caused by a leaking rocker cover. It says this in the gen 3 service manual under "engine trouble in general."
