just wondering if any1 here has dyno'ed a 2.5i?

if so, care to share the figures?

Hey mate
I dont have 2.5i but i have an MY02 RX. Which has the 2.5 motor in it.
My car was quoted as having 115kW at the flywheel. I got dyno'ed late last year and it did 86.2kW atw.

At the time of having it dyno'ed i hadnt done anything to it as far as i knew it was satndard. I have just had a full exhaust system installed on my car. Extractors, 2.5inch Cat and a 2.25 system put on. But have not had it dyno'ed yet. As far as i know i have to go to sydney to get it done as there are no 4wd dynos in newy.

i smashed out an 83.4 atw before the new engine.. and with it still running like a dog. i did an 86.4 atw here a couple of weeks ago, on the Ozlib dyno day

2 months ago i pulled 87.5kw at a toyota dyno day. car was and still is stock.

what model you in champ??

im going to run it again, if my car ever gets fixed...

just had the injectors fixed up, and its pulling a lil better from about 2500 up... so fingers crossed.

but considering the car has been below standard for lets see... 18 months now...
