Opinions on a X-force 2 1/4" catback exhaust on 07 Lib?

Anyone have on or know of anyone?

Just want to know if it will be worth it!?

What are you after - performance or sound?

If its performance, you won't get much of a gain without a tune.

If its sound - check out the exhaust section for audio clips of various systems and see if they're to your liking

Not sure how pricey the X-force systems are but I'd also look at getting prices from your local muffler shop to knock up a system for you (only go 2.25inch on an NA Liberty) and compare the price difference.

Also depends alot on the mufflers. 2.25" on the NA's sound nice. I'm doing a EOI on x force center and Y pipes if your interested. Check out the GB section, Will be around $575 for center and Y pipe, that way people can do which ever mufflers they prefer.

Yeah the x-force mufflers i looked at some from a local dealer he quoted me 478.50 (system) + 60 (freight) + 60 install so looking at about 600!

Seen a few vids on you tube but most of them have headers! Borla reps, been looking for some but really hard to find some!

yea the x-force catback for the 2.5i, i went to an xforce distributer with a mate to pick up an exhaust for his car, the guy happened to have replaced just the mufflers off another lib for an insurance job, soo i purchased the rest of it off them.

Got that system done on my 08 liberty around 2 months ago! Note is quite nice, however will obviously be better if you had your headers done etc.

I paid around $780. That includes the cost of getting it sent to Perth from Sydney. I bought it from an online exhaust workshop called "bestmufflers.com"
Really easy to talk to, and had it sent and arrived in perth on my doorstep within 4 working days.
Not a big increase performance wise, although with a tune will bring out around 12kw's. Definately worth it though :D

i recently got the xforce exhaust on MY07 sedan,

gives the car a good note and looks great (got the stainless steel catback for 760 installed in NEWCASTLE),
sadly tho i would of expected it to be a bit louder then it was but still a very good upgrade from stock,
hope that helps :)

I'm running the x-force 2.25" on my supercharged setup, also had it running on the stock engine. As said: a nice subtle note but no real power gain without tuning.

On the my08+ models, the stock headers are very well designed for the NA engine. Even with the little cat-convertor they have in them. My TWE headers sound better but didn't gain much.

Cat-back system is the go, but make sure you get stainless steel. Will last way longer then the cheaper mild steel option

Hey Jesse,
Just wondering where you got your exhaust done? Are you still happy with it and would you use them again? I'm in Newcastle and looking to get the exhaust done too.
Thanks,
Ang.

Any chance someone happens to have a video of how they sound on an otherwise stock 2.5i?
Every youtube video with xforce exhausts sounds different.

I got the mild steel Xforce cat-back system installed on my 07. Now it's worn in sounds pretty good :) I've got a vid on youtube I'll post a link later. My car is pretty stock too.
