2.5 NA into WRX
Hi Im new and I am probably the only person on earth who has bought a 2000 moel WRX RA and is having the short block and turbo removed and fitting a NA 2.5 to the EJ20T heads.
I will be running an aftermarket computer and a custom exhaust and the car will be run on CSR E85 as a Targa Race car for 2012.
Any problems or hints that i should be aware of.
I chose the WRX RA as the RA is the lightest of all Imprezas and the WRX model still has the STI running gear but less nice things and ABS instead of DCCD.
Being a wrx it already has the much tougher driveline than a stock impreza.
I hope to build it up as a replica US Subaru Impreza RS 2.5 that way i can run targa in the under 2.5 category against RX7s, MX5's and Lotus Elise.
My target is about 100kilowatts ATW which is the same as a stock turbo WRX.
I hope it weighs in at 1200kgs.
