ahhh i see the dilemma lol.
bummer, it would have been a nice sleeper project for us P platers lol
i wonder how the supercharger will go, any dyno charts of a previous person ??

I've seen the dyno graph of a 2.5 impreza with the kit and that gained around 40% more power up to around 140awkw.

I'm just going down this path due to ease, being different and later on all this stuff can be removed with no change to the STD motor and the kit can be mounted onto another car

I finally got the vagi ummm... vag-com cable :twisted:

Will have a see if it connects up tonight and spend tomorrow reading the ecu image and trying to sus things out.

It is working, having a few issues with ecuflash connecting but could have sorted that issue out. will try again this weekend.

keep an eye on the blog site, i'm gonna try and keep that updated as much as possible.

ordered my lc1 and fitting a cubby gauge pod that i made

will do that blog tonight or tomorrow :)

i bookmarked the blog, ill be keeping an eye on it :),
soo with the VAG com + the LC will you be able to make a different tune for your stock engine ??? maybe squeeze an extra few kw out ?

Well that's the plan. I'll be trying to tune it in na form them again with boost.
Just need to find reliable awd dyno that won't break the bank haha

I'll take you for a spin once it done, might be too tempting for u though haha

ohh cool, sounds awsome,
if i like it ill be doing it soon after, i mate of mine had heads/cams done to his 05 impreza rs, same engine as ours, and had it tuned at Horsepower factory, apparantly they were really good, hes pulling 105kw atw N/A

Edit: sorry it's 115 not 105 atw but yea no boost

well i just had a massive kick in the b***s.

Car was running a bit off yesterday so i got home and looked around. smelt like something burning... it was oil and water making love.

So looks like the project is going to take a back seat as i try to sort it out

well i am working two jobs now while i was trying to save to do the supercharger.

Now its gonna cost a heap to sort this out, so probably take another year to bloody save for it.

That’s perfect timing, now you can beef up the internals and up the boost and have some real fun.

It wouldn’t cost you much more, most of the cost involved will be labour
