MY08 Liberty Wagon 2.5i

Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade the stock exhaust on my MY08 4GEN 2.5i Wagon to get some more grunt and unsure where to start as majority of aftermarket exhaust components are for 2.0L Turbos or the 3.0L.

1. Are other engine exhaust components compatible with my 2.5i?
2. To achieve better sound what should I upgrade first?
3. Will a Catback suited to a sedan sit recessed under my bumper?
3. I've heard uneven headers will need a tune as it will throw a code - is this true?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
