CEL & Flashing Cruise

Postby seanmau5 » Mon Mar 18, 2013 7:06 pm

Hey guys. Must've knocked the switch for the parkers on the steering column today.. My parkers stayed on all day and flattened my battery.

Jumped it off my old man's car but now I have a CEL and the cruise light is flashing. I don't have time during the day until Friday to take it to my mechanics so I'm hoping someone can help me out tonight that has a scanner?

I realise if it's not a serious CEL it'll disappear but would rather not take the risk.

Start and turn off the car 6 times. If it is serious, it will stay on past the 6th start

Worked a treat, only took 3 restarts. Cheers!
