for that amount, you may as well just get an aftermarket ecu

No, it is, some of the earlier models came with a hitachi ECU which most tuners havent been able to tune yet

I think my original post was edited by the moderator haha.
Feel free to point me in the direction of an after market ecu instead of a piggy back system ;)

Well, I went with a Motec M800, which requires plenty of reverse engineering as the wiring harness in the car and wiring harness in the service manual for the 04s didn't match. However, I am now good for whatever the hell I want to do with the motor for the rest of time
