Rear Bumper

i have a 2008 Liberty and a nice person in a car park the other day left me a present on the rear bumper. a nice deep scratch of about 50cm right across it, it goes deep through the paint and into the plastic.

does anyone know how much a rear bumper would cost, or expected cost to go to a panel beater? or failing that options to fix it ?

Not worth buying a new bumper, the panel beater can plastic weld the gouge it will be as good as new once painted again.

You might be up for around $400-$500.00 at a minimum depending on whether you want them to do it with the bumper off or on. Better to do it off then they can bake the paint nicely.
