Rough engine idle

Postby mahoney » Sat Jun 19, 2010 8:18 pm

Hi all. Just wanted to ask for some help. I have an 04 manual liberty wagon and when i stop an the car is idling you can feel the engine shake an it doesnt fill normal. I have changed the spark plugs this week an it is still doin it. Does any one have any suggestions it would much be appreciated.

run some upper engine cleaner through it...

could be a dirty injector... did you gap the plugs correctly.

Check your air filter - my MY01 Forester (2.0L) used to do this, when I'd been out in the bush with lots of dust collecting in the filter...

The new plugs where gapped accordingly. I checked the air box cause i thought that it could have not been closed. Any particular upper engine cleaner
