I'm going for a dyno tune earlier next year around January, not sure if i'll get much of a performance gain but it's worth a try.
Maybe that'll sort out your problem also?

its just bad fuel
mention it on your next service
they will reset the ECU for you
go elsewhere for your fuel

The brute force way is to disconnect your battery for 15 minutes, but you'll lose all your radio stations as well.
The eaier way is with an OBD tool plugged into the diagnostic port under the dashboard. Several members have these. What city are you in?

Does the Mac stereo need a code once the battery has been disconnected?

Mine has never asked for a code when i disconnect battery

im in canberra im having the same thing happen with my car i even started to wright it down when it happens and what fuel im useing

at the moment
bp = 1500rpm to 2500 rpm

shell 2500 rpm to 3500 rpm

and moble at the moment with one loss of power

Try posting in the ACT forum viewforum.php?f=31
and ask if anyone has an ECUDatascan or a Tactrix cable.
