Problem is, you will have to manage the boost, fuel and ignition.

Some AVCS tuning will be needed. I would how much the stock 2R would take.

isn't the stock compression on the 2.0i something like 11:1?

11.5:1, if it is like the JDM.

That is not a problem. Problem is that the stock wg is 8psi. Controlling for lower boost would be difficult with the current stock wg. I get a fix greddy or ext wg can help.

But again, how much can these engines take.

I will be building mind with the same compression to run 12+psi.

I had a chat with my mechanic at A&B Motorsports and I went over to the shop and saw a Lib 2.0R like mine getting a turbo conversion. Frank (the owner) which is also my good friend told me that all the work will cost around 10-12k....hmmmm this is so tempting....let me know if you're keen!!

I am not sure but I am guessing it would run 6 or 8 psi....but the one that is at the shop looks awesome, he said this is the 3rd Lib that he has turbocharged and they all seem to work fine with no dramas.....

Spoke to Paul at Pulse Racing and he said that this can be done, as he has done some Libs before as well....it will cost around 8-10k and runs boost of 6-8 psi....this is all so tempting!

seriously guys have a look at what your car is worth on car sales CARSALES & then add 10K to the value you give your car & see what sort of GT you can get, IMHO you are wasting your money spending that sort of cash on a 2.0R.
When it comes time for resale you will get so much more of your money back with a GT than a 2.0R with a turbo + correct me if i am wrong the but GT also comes with a lot more other options when compared to a 2.0R than just the turbo.
The only draw back i can see in my idea is you may be getting a car with more KMs
