Eletric turbochargers

Postby alex.shelford » Wed Oct 31, 2012 7:50 pm

Hello everyone

I've just stumbled upon "electric turbos". Ive read that they just sit in your intake behind your filter then you wire them up, some claim to give you an additional 15hp..

I have some doubts/worries about these, such as (obviously) would this actually achieve any gain in performance, also would it damage any part of the internals of the engine.

Does anyone know anything about these?

Cheers, Alex
