Electronic Parts Software (exploded diagrams, parts nr)

Not sure if this has been listed somewhere here before, but this piece of software lets you look up any part on your Liberty. It even has the part codes for things like the A/V kit. Might be good to have this in the reference section too.

This is a compressed RAR file. Once it's downloaded you need to extract it and go to the "SSFASTPG" folder then to the "WIN" folder.
Next click on "Setup". select your language and follow the prompts to install.

You shouldn't need to create a backup as you will already have the files from when you downloaded and extracted the RAR file.

Once Subaru Fast2 is installed you need to go to SUBARU-FAST2 in your start menu and select "2) Setup"
In part 1 you should browse and select the folder you expanded the RAR file into.
This should mean you can use the software without having a CD copy in your drive.
At this point you should also click the box for "RHD" - you'll find it second from the bottom...

Now you should be ready to start finding part numbers and exploded diagrams of almost every Subaru model up until 2006.

As an added bonus you can put in you VIN and find the exact part to suit your car. Be aware that some VIN don't seem to work. If this is the case you can click the "?" after model code and select the type of vehicle you're searching for.

Be warned: The download is 81mb

Best ever! I've been using Nissan FAST for years and it's been absolutely indispensable, having one for the Lib is awesome :D

And yeah the Nissan FAST was around 2GB too, this one being 81MB is brilliant!

Definitely a very valuable piece of Software, I can highly recommend it 8).
Especially the VIN Search function.

OpposedForces.com is ok, but I've lost count of the number of times I find a Parts Diagram that doesn't list the Part# I want underneath :?.

I downloaded FAST2 a while ago. So if people still have trouble getting it, we might set up a File Storage option. I can't seed a Torrent for more than a few hours a day. So if anyone has eg a MegaUpload or Rapidshare account, let me know and I can forward you the files to upload.
Or does anyone have any other ideas (Torrents are great, but people rarely share, so that's not a good option)?
